Emeralds is a faith-based organization that aims to aid professional women maximize their God-given talents and achieve the purpose of God for their lives. It is a non-denominational fellowship that welcomes any professional woman willing to encourage others at the same status and positively impact the lives of others around her including men and the less-privileged women.

The place of a woman and the Christian professional woman is very unique. This position can make or mar a large number of persons who come under the sphere of her influence. Emeralds are undaunted by the challenges that come with this privilege. They bask in the abundance of grace that come with the knowledge of our LORD Jesus Christ, thus, extending the range of the influence they have by reason of their positions, intellects and endowment. The Emerald woman is not just a winner but a history maker. Jesus came and changed the history of the world that the times and all things start or end with him (e.g. BC and AD) even with people who do not know or believe in him. Indeed all things consist in Him. As their Master, Jesus Christ, the Emeralds women unobtrusively determine events and processes.

The emerald is a rare gem and of eternal value. God chose to encircle his throne with an emerald (Rev. 4:3) giving significance to that gem. The Emeralds are, therefore, a group of women who though they may bear the marks of Christ in their bodies, are beautiful in and out and have the power that comes from constantly being in the presence of God. They are women, like Christ who choose to lay down their lives for the sake of the gospel but who through faith have excelled in life. Many are seen to have the magic touch of Joseph, the humility of Moses, the audacity of Elijah and the tenacity of Paul. They are, therefore, marked out as rare just as the emerald! Some may be profuse with words, while others are frugal with words, in their different shades, they make up this godly household of the Emeralds through whom God has and is still transforming many lives!!
